At Natural Rhythms Integrative Medicine, we value each and every one of our patients. And we are grateful for the kind words that many have said. Here are a few examples.
After a long day of caring for others, I arrived at Natural Rhythms for an Ayurvedic treatment and felt deeply cared for. Afrin is a compassionate and skillful provider who truly believes in the healing power of this medicine. I’ve heard that the word for “oil” is the same as for “love” in Sanskrit and I definitely felt smothered in love during my abhyanga treatment (warm oil massage). I highly recommend Natural Rhythms as a home base for healing.

Dr. Anup Mulakaluri is a bright and compassionate doctor, who worked side-by-side with one of the most talented doctors in the field of naturopathic and complimentary oncology medicine. Dr. Mulakaluri has a gentle manner as he asks probing questions to get to the root of one’s medical issues. Dr. Anup Mulakaluri has a talent for inserting and removing intravenous needles in a way that is pain free and uneventful. Dr. Anup Mulakaluri is very personable and intuitive, and has a wonderful manner that earned deep respect and admiration from both me and my husband.
I will call you Anup because you have transcended the doctor patient to that of friend to patient, as it should be. You have reached the highest level of medicine, that of the practitioner that becomes a friend first, doctor second. Over this past year and some months, you have helped me face a devastating diagnosis of incurable cancer. But together, we have reached a place of happiness and joy. I am no longer afraid, no longer waiting for the end. I have never felt better, never been happier, never more excited to enjoy each and every day. You have been an integral part in my change of perception from “how long will I live?” to “how well will I live?” Anup, thank you for all the great times we have had, even with you dressed in your white doctor coat. You are going to be a tremendous success in your medical career because you have the right stuff. Anybody can go to medical school, but it is the rare individual who surpasses doctor to his patients and become the friend. All the best to you and God bless you in your life to come. I know of what I speak because I have done it.
Dr. Anup Mulakaluri was recommended to me by a good friend when I was looking for a doctor of traditional medicine this Spring. I am beginning my 65th year, and am in good health due to many decades using various traditional medicines along with a healthy diet. I was hoping to finally clear some chronic conditions resulting from stress and lingering trauma, so turned to Ayurvedic medicine as a possible helpmate.
Dr. Anup’s skillfulness at reading my body through pulses, my tongue and a brief physical exam cut through my need to go into long stories about my health history. When he told me what he had learned from my body, I felt immediate trust and confidence in working with him. He then asked questions to fill in the more subtle knowing that only his patient can provide, and his deep listening skill was obvious in his ability to understand my answers to his questions.
It is now only 3 months later and I am well on my way to this clearing that I was looking for. He has gathered an amazing and well-intentioned skill set of Ayurveda, Naturopathic medicine, and Shamanism that all became useful when guiding me in this time. He has my full confidence and recommendation for those looking for a health care provider.
My last comment is that I have also been looking for a Doctor to have on record in case I have an emergency that would put me into the care of a facility that is run by the American Medical Association. I had a trusted Doctor years ago, but he retired some years ago, and I would trust Dr. Anup with this even after working with him for such a short period of time, as he has the knowledge, respectfulness, and deep listening skills of my prior Doctor.
Dr. Mulakaluri is totally dedicated to being an Ayurvedic and Naturopathic doctor. He consistently studies & does Research to enhance his knowledge to serve his patients. I have known him for at least 6 years. He has given me great advice and support when I’ve been ill. He has a high level of compassion, kindness and patience plus is an excellent listener. I also love that he is spiritual and deeply connects to our earth and the animals.

I met Dr. Anup Mulakaluri, N.D., while he was doing a residency at Ayurvedic and Naturopath Medical Clinic in Bellevue, WA.
Dr. Mulakaluri is wise beyond his years. He is personable, kind, and has a gentle and compassionate spirit and presence.
My first one-to-one introduction to Dr. Mulakaluri was when he took a blood draw, which I dislike, a lot. I become very tense and this is no superficial comment when I say that he is the best at it that I’ve experienced. That event made me stand up and take notice.
Subsequent visits provided more interactions and as my experience’s increased so did my respect and trust.
I really appreciated Dr. Mulakaluri’s generosity of going the “extra mile” when he went out of his way to provide me resources which became invaluable to me—thank you!
Dr. Mulakaluri’s deep and intuitive listening abilities made me feel seen and heard. He emanates sincere concern for you as a patient and as a human being.
He made remarkable contribution’s to me and my life, and I believe he will continue to do so gracing his patients with his gifts.
